Personal data

General

Personal information is all of the information that can in some way be traced to you. When using our website, we collect and process a variety of such information. For example, this can be done during normal access to content, if you subscribe to our newsletter, take part in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, or through other use of services or purchases via the website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical data about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location, and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you give your explicit consent and you enter the information yourself, the following is also processed: Name, phone number, e-mail address and payment information. This will typically be in connection with creating a user profile, or when making purchases.

We process your personal data securely and confidentially, in accordance with applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act.

Your data will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected and it will be deleted when those purposes have been met or are no longer relevant.

We have taken technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or unlawful deletion, disclosure, loss, deterioration, unauthorised disclosure, misuse or otherwise being processed in violation of the legislation.

Purpose

The information is used to identify you as a user and to show you ads that are most likely to be relevant to you, to record your purchases and payments, and to provide the services you have requested, e.g. to distribute a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimise our services and content.

Retention period

The information is stored for the period allowed by law, and will be deleted by us when it is no longer needed. The duration of said period depends on the nature of the data and the reason for storing it. It is therefore not possible to specify a general time frame for when information is deleted.

You can see which third parties are involved in the section on “Cookies” above. The data is used for targeted advertising.

We also use a number of third parties for the storage and processing of data. These parties only process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Personal data such as name and e-mail etc. will only be disclosed if you consent to such. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries able to sufficiently protect your information.
